Hello Tuesday Travelers!

Thanks for joining in last week and welcome to another brand new week of Tuesday Travels sharing!

I’m sharing a glimpse of the Rib Mountain State Park in Rib Mountain community in North Wisconsin! We visited the place for the 3rd time already, but we tagged along our friends from Illinois so it was their first time. We had a great time, and we’d love to go back here again soon, on a good weather so we won’t have to rush ourselves in going home. :D

Girls! :)

Te Eve and Eds and The Van Housser Tower on top of the mountain which makes this spot to be one of the highest elevations in Wisconsin

Us girls, again, on the peakest spot! Yes, it was definitely knee-jerking up there!

This State Park has so much to offer actually. It is a premier day-use facility with picnicking, hiking trails, and a reservable amphitheater. The top of the 60-foot observation tower offers spectacular views of the Wausau area and Wisconsin River. In the summer or warm days, countless nature-lovers would trek the 13 miles of hiking trails and 9 of them are accessible to people with disabilities. In the Fall, the beauty of the Autumn Foliage in this mountain is breathtaking! The Granite Peak Ski Area is on the north face of the mountain and offers downhill skiing and snowboarding during winter. So all year, all sorts of fun activities await you in this state park!

The good thing is, this place is just 30 minutes north from where we live so it’s very easy to head up there anytime we want to!

It looks like one beautiful place to explore. My husband and I are great fans of hiking (most especially my husband). He got me into loving hiking so much. Too bad we don’t leave in a place where there are mountains everywhere. I love the photos! :)
