Last Friday was our first time for this year to drive down to Milwaukee for our Biometrics appointment at the US Department of Homeland Security in connection with the Permanent Residency application that we are working on right now. It was a successful trip even though the temperature that day was not so friendly. It was so windy and therefore so chilly. In Milwaukee, there were no more snow on the grounds though but the gusty wind was blowing like crazy. It was not bearable without bundling up. However, the sun was out so it was still a beautiful day out there.
After our appointment at the USCIS building by the west side of Milwaukee’s business district, we drove around the area before heading out west of Milwaukee to go to a huge Asian Store there to grocery shop before heading home. I took a few captures while we were driving around Milwaukee’s business disctrict and I thought I did a pretty good job capturing the outside even with our dirty windshield.
I always love taking a photo of this towering USBank Building in Milwaukee because for one, we are USBank account holders and second, this building seems to be the tallest in Milwaukee as far as my eyes have seen.
There will be future Milwaukee trips later this year that’s for sure! A 3.5 hours of driving is not so bad at all especially if our little travelholics are a trooper! And I am glad that our very first trip down there was a good one! How do you like my snaps?
